今年5月、春の空気に包まれた富士五湖の一角・山梨県精進湖で、大型のへらぶなを狙う。訪れたのは、管理池から野池まであらゆるジャンルのへらぶな釣りに精通する伊藤さとしさんと、昨年度のジャパンカップ優勝者・吉田康雄さん。へらぶなの聖地ともいえる精進湖には、意外にも初めて来たという吉田さんを、ベテランの伊藤さんが案内してくれる。二人は、それぞれ底釣りとチョウチン釣りという、違ったアプローチで40センチを超える大型のへらぶなを追う。
